Togetherness of Creative, Abstract Humans suffering from Mental Illnesses

I love this one. All my thoughts and feelings here written way better than I ever could. Also, a great source of encouragement..the thing that we may be lonely, but we are not alone ❤
Promise, I’ll try my best to hold myself together and be back to the blogging world.

GentleKindness

Each of us sits alone and writes about our individual mental torment. At any given time of the night or day, there are many of us sitting at our computer writing of how we feel alone.

We write about how the others do not believe in our suffering because they cannot see it. People tend to believe what they can see and touch.

I have found that abstract minded, creative people tend to suffer from mental suffering. This is exasperated by the fact that abstract , creative people are in the minority.
As well as the fact that people with mental illness are in the minority.

Being in two minority groups puts us into a further minority. This is one of the reasons we feel so alone and misunderstood. A lot of the time, we are misunderstood by the others. We are alone in our mental suffering a lot of…

We all want people to think well of us that is why we stay clean, wear decent clothes and try to act in a socially acceptable way. The truth is what matters is how we see ourselves. Others opinions are just that. Opinions. Be your unique self and revel in it. There will never ever be another you. It took me over half a century to realize that and I am enjoying every damn minute. Try it you will like it.

Listen To Your Instincts

Positive Outlooks

There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it. —Judith McNaught

Petition for apology – Bipolar stigmatisation

How utterly disgusting this is..It’s one thing I was told a lot by my friends and family for my panic disorder that I’m just whining because they were unable to understand it but having loads of people on, and looking down upon the strength these illnesses require is just unacceptable. I’m so sick of this.

BY LAUREN HAYLEY

I can’t actually believe people still get away with stigmatising mental illness, and that it is then allowed to be broadcast either via radio or TV. It is disgusting and proves that there is still a lot of hard work to be done to eliminate these ignorant views.

Please sign this petition to help gain an apology from American radio host, Tom Sullivan, who mocked Bipolar Disorder on air – labelling it as ‘made up’ and ‘the latest fad’.

It will take two minutes of your time, showing that you will not stand for these types of derogatory labels being put on the very real and painful mental illnesses that we suffer with.
